ADR-0054: The Study Area is the production area that uses น้ำยาล้างชิ้นงาน

Status: Accepted — amends ADR-0034, which stands Date: 2026-09-11

Decisions

D-125 The Study Area is whichever production area of The Plant uses น้ำยาล้างชิ้นงาน; where more than one does, the one where the needs study can recruit Handlers

This names a criterion, not an area: the owner may not know The Plant's floor yet, and the criterion picks the area whoever does. What D-80 asks The Plant for first becomes specific — the chemical list for the area that uses น้ำยาล้างชิ้นงาน, which a supervisor can answer without handing over the binder.

What each amendment touches

  • ADR-0034 — D-79 stands: the Corpus covers every chemical in one Study Area, sized by what that number turns out to be, and the needs study runs in the same area. What D-79 left open is which area; D-125 answers it. D-80 stands, and now names what to ask for.

Context

ADR-0034 scopes the Corpus to one production area (D-79) and forbids "quietly extending the Study Area to reach a rounder number of documents". It does not say which area. The grill of 2026-09-11 asked, and the answer came from ADR-0016 rather than ADR-0034.

ADR-0016 says น้ำยาล้างชิ้นงาน is the proof: the proxy corpus of public SDS is scaffolding, and the test that the real Corpus holds The Plant's own documents rather than a proxy is this mixture, which no public source supplies. It is also a Formulated Product with no CAS number — the case D-18's identity design exists for, and the case the camera's CAS-first read order cannot resolve.

Any other area makes that proof unreachable by construction. The Corpus would be complete and correct and unable to demonstrate the one thing it is meant to. So the area is chosen for the proof, and ADR-0034's reason for putting the study in the same area — that a study in an area the app can answer measures the product rather than its emptiness — breaks the tie.

Decision

Choose the Study Area by the proof chemical. Ask The Plant which area uses it, then for that area's chemical list.

Rejected options

  • The area with the fewest chemicals — rejected. Tempting against ADR-0028's day-per-document cost, and exactly the scoping-for-convenience ADR-0034 warns against, unless that area happens to contain the proof.
  • Name an area now — not available. Nobody in this repository knows The Plant's floor; a name written here would be a guess wearing a ruling's authority.

This ruling may not be re-decided

If a change contradicts this ADR: stop and raise it. Do not implement over it.

Specifically: do not pick a Study Area that does not use น้ำยาล้างชิ้นงาน to make the Corpus smaller or the study easier to staff.

Consequences

What becomes easy. The first question for The Plant is one sentence, and its answer both sizes the work and names the documents to request first.

What it costs. If the area that uses the mixture is large, the Corpus is large. That is D-79's position already: whatever number falls out is the number.

What it depends on. Access to The Plant, still unsecured (the handoff's blocker on the binder). The criterion does not need that access to be written down, only to be applied.
